Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.                                                   James 5:13-16

Prayer Ministries

At OACC our vision is to be in committed relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.  Nowhere are these relationships experienced in greater depth than in ministry of prayer and intercession.  We also believe the Lord is inviting His Church to pray.  We want to invite you to join with the many others in the ministry of prayer. You may be interested in joining one of the prayer team ministries or you may simply like to have more information about the prayer ministry at OACC you can call or email Elder Steve Bunnell 743-8773.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer Warriors is a group of people who commit to prayer during our morning worship service, praying for all requests and needs of the church body, for the service and for those ministering. They meet in the Prayer Room during Sunday morning service: 10:15-11:00am

Healing Prayer

Elders are available for prayer for healing at the back of the North Wing Sanctuary every Sunday after the morning service.

Prayer Chain

Literally “calling” God’s people to pray by phone. If you have a request that you would like to have distributed by way of the prayer chain, please call: 743-0375 if no one is available please call the church office 743-7310 or you can send a request by email.
